Venus de Milo

Garden statue in Carrara marble granulate and white cement, faithful reproduction of the Venus de Milo exhibited at the Louvre Museum in Paris. Aphrodite stands with her bare bust up to her abdomen and her legs veiled by a dense drapery. The body creates a measured tension that recalls a typical chiasmus of Polykleitan derivation.
